Finally, a weekend where the sun was out and the sky was clear. So far the weather has been nice during the week but when the weekend comes, in come the clouds. But this weekend was nice so we decided to spend our time outside. On Saturday we went to the famous Kerry Park, they filmed some scenes from Grey’s Anatomy here recently. All the park really is is a great viewpoint of the city, it’s not that big. Then we went for a long walk through Discovery Park. It’s a large park with long walking trails which eventually lead to a beach and a lighthouse. After the walk we went back to the city and had some bubble tea in Capital Hill. Turns out this weekend was ‘Gay Pride’ and there was a big parade. Too bad our camera died, there were tons of characters out and about. All I can say is ‘a man dressed as a nun, in tight leather and a clown face…’ that is all… On Sunday we went for a walk through the famous ‘Public Market’ and then home to rest our feet from a long weekend of walking…
